This is Dilakshi and I am originally from Sri Lanka. Currently, I am residing in the United Kingdom. I have completed my Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern University of Sri Lanka, where I achieved a second class upper division. Due to my performance in the examination and other activities, I was offered a position as a Lecturer in Management at the same university. During my time there, I pursued my Master’s degree specializing in Human Resource Management at the University of Colombo. Driven by my passion for studying, I also obtained an MSc in Management from Coventry University, London, where I achieved a Higher Distinction. Although I encountered various barriers and hardships, I unfortunately had to drop my PhD in Human Resource in my second year. However, throughout my career, I have published numerous research articles and actively participated in international research conferences. I am proud to be an approved Trainer of the Government of Sri Lanka, responsible for conducting training sessions for graduates entering government positions. Additionally, I have conducted numerous training programs for universities and professional bodies, focusing on skill development for career enhancement. In 2022, I was elected as a member of the National Union of Students (NUS) by Coventry University. In my university career, I last worked as a Senior Lecturer, Grade 1, before immigrating to the UK. Upon moving to the UK, I worked as an Administrator within the NHS of England. However, after a year, I was offered an exciting opportunity that aligned with my educational and professional background. I became a Business Development Executive in Albatross Education Ltd. With the support of our CEO, I successfully expanded our business to Sri Lanka under my supervision. Utilizing my knowledge, skills, and network, I am confident that I can make valuable contributions to further expand our business and help achieve our goals efficiently and effectively.
